An appointment and 7-day turnaround may be required for some items and garments, particularly if they are damaged or require specific care or specialist bootblack advice. The HAUS OF AXWL provides bootblacking services free of charge to the community; however, it welcomes a no-obligation donation on a pay-as-you-feel basis to cover the costs associated with:
Parts and supplies required to provide bootblacking services to clients
Professional learning into bootblacking practices
Supporting the HAUS OF AXWL to support disadvantaged community members to access events that enable them to engage with the community, be their authentic selves as kinky people and have pride in themselves.
The HAUS OF AXWL doesn't expect anyone to feel obligated to donate, particularly those currently studying, receiving welfare or affected by domestic and family violence (DFV), financial hardship or un- or under-employment.
The HAUS OF AXWL welcomes donations in cash, card (via the Square terminal) or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Contact the HAUS OF AXWL to arrange this.
